Hi Everyone,
Is it possible to lay fiberglass without bubbles?  I have tried many ways but still see bubbles.  The wet fiberglass has no bubbles but when it dried it has many bubbles.  Is it because I use slow harderner?  How do you do it?  Thanks.  Vincent

I like the idea of having the steering wheel in the center of the boat.  Did anyone build it this way?

For the GA28 powered by a Honda 225HP outboard, will cable steering work okay or I have to go with hydraulic steering?

Thank you in advance.

Hello Brian and all.
I got the kit from Chuck.  I wonder if I can start to glue the transom pieces together now?  Just don't want to have too many pieces laying around.  Thanks.  Vincent

Boat Building Materials / Where to buy 8" x 9-oz woven fiberglass tape?
« on: November 14, 2014, 07:01:30 PM »
I looked at several websites but they did not have 8" x 9-oz fiberglass tape.  It would be nice to have the 8" tape instead of cutting it out from larger piece.  Thank you for your help.  Vincent

I used to lift Jet Ski.  It can lift 2000 lbs.  Thx.

I already have a relatively new 115 HP Honda (30 hrs).  If 20 in shaft work on the GA, I will buy one more 115 HP Honda outboard.

What trailer brand and model will work best on the GA 28?  Regular heavy duty boat trailers are unnecessary for GA 28 I think....lighter trailers may be less expensive but I don't know where to buy.  Please share your experience.

Thanks

Hi,
This is Vincent from Patterson, CA.  I purchased the 28 GA precut from Chuck.  Soon I will start working on the GA in my extended garage.  I am trying to build the GA so I can replace my current two boats (Boston Whaler 17 & Yamaha 212X).  I am sure that I will need a lot of help from all of you here.  Thanks in advance.  Vincent
