Thank you so much. That settles it. If I ever get going, I am going to go 28'.  I'd like to have seating for 6 so I'll probably go with a 2' longer cabin and that should give me what I need.  I was down your way last week for a quick trip with a buddy on his 22' aluminum boat and 5 people and a Chessy dog. It worked, but it gets kind of tight.

  Alasks isn't too friendly to outdoor builds. House is done, shop goes up next summer, boat starts winter of 2011

I bought the plans back in 2007.  Still dreaming, but my shop should be coming together this summer. If the planets align I will start the boat this time next year.

I have a friend that is thinking along the same lines as me. We will see.
