Heat wave be dammed, finished sanding the exterior yesterday and gave it the final wipe down at 11:00 last night.  Up at 4:30 knowing I only have about a 3 hour window for moderately warm temps.

SOB it was hot wearing a paint suit...

And my 2c, round up on the thickness in case you want fabric on the inside.

Anyone know of good bottom fishing spots near Newport or Depot Bay and wiling to share?

I have a friend that is having difficulty locating bottom fish down there and i have never been.

I was going to mention a big glassing project coming up!  Nice use of the stairs and shelf for glass roll dispenser.

Your making great progress and doing a great job glassing.  I like watching your videos and like the electric planer with the attachment.

Brian, can you move this the the projects section?

I have worked some on the boat, sanded one complete side including upper sides and have the other side upper sanded so a little more sanding before applying primer surfacer.  I am dragging my feet a little since I need it to warm up somewhat before painting.

I cut out and glassed my overhead fishing pole storage rack and applied fill coats on both sides today so tomorrow I can glue them in permanently.  I purchased storage racks and could not bring myself to install the plastic pieces...

Luckily I have a router and a pattern bit and double-sided tape and some leftover epoxy..

1/4" bungee cord used to secure pole in the open slots. Not in the pics

Tom,  No I have not but, not sure they would know the charge profile of the VR so It would still need to be modified for use

I have discovered that the alternator has an internal regulator that must be bypassed and one field grounded. See below.

It is getting pretty complicated, I had a long conversation with Wakespeed and they suggested purchasing a rebuild alternator and have it converted.

All of this just to assure proper charging of the LifeP04 start battery.  I think I am jumping ship on the LifeP04 start battery, but will use them for house batteries as suggested.
