Nope ...I tested the design with a model, had the design checked by a professional naval architect, and had the design checked mechanically by a marine mechanical engineer w/experience designing all kinds of boats professionally. Then, I paid out build incentives to the first person to build it to point of turnover (Doug C. in Palmer, AK got that) and for the first launch (Adrian P. in Gresham, OR got that one). So no ...I never built it, but the design was checked thoroughly before anyone else did and they built them successfully ...and they've tested out very well in rough offshore conditions.
