marine plywood in the Midwest?
« on: September 22, 2023, 04:42:10 PM »
Hi Everyone,

I live in Milwaukee, Wi and I am struggling to find any lumber yards that carry Marine Grade plywood. Ideally I would be able to look at and pick out between a few different species. Other than ordering online through Menards - a regional box store - which I'd prefer not to buy from, I am striking out. Any suggestions for local providers or reliable shipping options?

Thanks

Have you tried Woodfinder.net? https://www.woodfinder.com/

Noah's delivers: http://www.noahsmarine.com/items.asp?Cc=33

Edensaw delivers: https://www.edensaw.com/

You might also check local listings for sellers of hardwoods ... they often also carry marine plywoods but don't make it obvious ... until you call and ask.

I ordered a bunch from Chesapeake Light Craft and had it sent to Juneau. This was cheeper than buying in Seattle even with trucking it across the US
