PLANS UPDATED!
« on: April 22, 2019, 09:13:05 AM »
The following updates occurred today (4-22-2019):

  • A new drawing, Sheet A010 - Model Comparison, has been added to the Study Plans and to the Kodiak Addendum
  • The Study Plans main document has been updated (with a minor reference to the aforementioned new drawing)
  • The Kodiak Addendum main document has been updated (minor remarks about bottom panel assembly turnover and seam building)

Enjoy!

PLANS UPDATED August 19, 2019:

  • Sheet 012 - Spray Rails. Standard Plans.  Added new dimensions to assist in getting the spray rails in the right location (Rockport & Newport models)
  • Sheet 035 - Amidships Cross-Section. Standard Plans.  Added new drawing who's purpose is to help answer trailer fitment questions
  • Sheet A010 - Model Comparison.  Kodiak Addendum and Study Plans.  Updated the drawing that shows the dimensional differences between the large Kodiak model versus the Standard model of the Great Alaskan.  The old model comparison drawing was not as clear

Updates available on our Downloads tab and via emailed links (for purchases from here on out).

COMING: For those who expect to have heavily loaded sterns, I am planning on releasing a "Hi-Load" version of the boat - Date is TBD but will be announced here.  Interested parties include those that will load the stern heavily with commercial gear or larger-than average power solution, or expect to (say) carry a lot of ice and passengers ... 6-pack charter captains in particular.  The Hi-Load version gives the stern an extra 200-300 lbs capacity as compared to the Standard Great Alaskan or Kodiak models.
