We got ‘er flipped! Special thanks to Jeff for helping to supervise. This was not easy, but we got it done. Here is a short video of the event.

It’s all up on the cradle and ready for round two. What a great team I had today. Anyone need 10 used tires?

What a ride!

Thanks! Harder than I thought. All done though. I’m hoping to come grab that gas tank in early October. I’ll let you know.

Size matters ... these boats are bigger than all of us ... combined!

The boat looks great!  And you did well with a small crew.

Yup ... it's fun, but a little stressful to turn it over.  But it's a huge milestone and for the first time, perhaps, you really get a feel for how big these boats are and what you got yourself into LOL ... )

Take a well-deserved break, sit in a garage chair and stair off into space ... dreaming of more halibut on the line :D

Randy,

You will be on your knees a lot once inside the boat,

I have about 5 different kind of strap on knee pads, they all sucked, the best knee pads I have found are the ones that fit into the jeans, Carhart makes them and there are others brands.

The pads you buy separately and fold in half and poke thru the small hole, they beauty is you never know they are there until you kneel down and do not feel any pain..

You all are very kind. I do have some strap on pads I HATE!!! I have carharts with the slots to insert but haven’t looked that far ahead. Guess I better start because I have bony knees that hate kneeling. Thanks!

Ditto on the double-front carhartts ... our local store carries the pads.  Roll them up, work them through the slot .. voila!  padded-knees that don't suck!  Great for gardening, working on the truck, any kneeling that's anywhere near gravel (what's the worst way to find a sharp little rock on the pavement?  Ask your knees...)
