I am interested in using sketchup to create a model of the GA so I can better envision and plan what I want to do. I can create some parts using the drawings in the plans but taking the flat panels and getting the hull shape is tricky (at least for me). I wanted to see if you would support getting a sketchup model built that folks could use for designing. I am mostly focused on the PH layout but obviously the hull shape has a lot of bearing on this (cuddy, storage areas,etc).
If you were open to it, I would be happy to share the model so others could get a head-start. I realize there may be concerns with making too much detail available to people without purchasing the plans. Not sure if that is an issue...I could not imagine anyone trying to build the GA just from a model.
Not sure how much work it would be, but it seems like taking 1 foot "slices" of the hull would be the easiest way to generate something? I can import .dxf or .dwg files.
Maybe others have been down this road before and already have model they would be willing to share?
