My primary boat for the last 16 years has been my 2004 Thunder Jet Luxor with Suzuki outboards. It’s been a great boat and has been everywhere from Wallowa Lake to Gold Beach to the Columbia River. I’ve crossed the Columbia, Tillamook and Yaquina Bay bars with it and have gone out 30 miles looking for tuna - on nice days. It’s well equipped now and has been a joy to own and operate. Last winter I added the tower, radar, MFD, required most of the electronics and added new terminal buses, LEDs, usb charge ports and other niceties. I may sell it next year depending on finances and how the GA 28 goes, but it’ll be nice to have a smaller boat for central Oregon when I retire here in a year.
